Visa application centres of Japan are being opened by the Consulate General of Japan in Chennai in Hyderabad, Kochi, Puducherry and Thiruvananthapuram from 31 March. The Hyderabad’s visa application centre will operate from Maheshwari Mayank Plaza, Greenlands, Ameerpet. But those who want to apply for diplomatic or official visas or those holding diplomatic and official passports and wanting to apply for visas and others needing visas on humanitarian grounds would need to apply only at Chennai office’s visa counter.
